    Converter is a metallurgical furnace that can be used for roasting,smelting variety of materials,it can replace reverberatory furnace.Converter has advantages as below than traditional reverberatory furnace: 　　　

    Strong adaptability. Can roast and smelt variety of materials,the processing capacity can adapt to the change of 50%~100%.The production rate is higher and the fuel consumption is lower than reverberatory furnace; 　　　

    Small ratio of length to diameter,small temperature difference,fast speed of heat transfer in furnace hearth,smelting temperature in furnace is uniform; 　　　

    High thermal efficiency,good sealing effect; 　　　

    The furnace body can rotate at a certain angle,can make the refractory material heated evenly,its life is longer;

    Its operating environment is good,mechanization degree is high,labor intensity is low. 　　　

    The converter is composed of kiln body,riding wheel and power device.The kiln body installed on the riding wheel is driven by the power device,which can rotate in a certain range,there arrange burner and operating port on the left of furnace body,power device on the right,smoke vent(double as feed opening) in the middle.The left operating port and middle smoke vent both can discharge materials. 　　　

    Power device can make the kiln body rolling circle using speed-regulating motor with dual output shaft,reducer,open gear pair.Need to adjust the speed according to the process requirements.If the electricity fails,manual rotation can make the kiln rolling. 　　　

    Fuel can use diesel oil,natural gas,coal gas,powdered coal,heavy oil,etc..Fuel gas gets through heat exchanger and enters into surface cooler to cool,using bag-type dust collector to eliminate dust.If the flue gas contains sulfur,desulfurization unit can be configured to reach the discharge standards.
